The Minnhock Awards! Nominations...
Stay positive!
One Class!
One nomination per poster!
Poster of the Year.
I nominate Irishmans Shanty. This unabashed Crookston Admiral has been a fresh voice this year, with a positive message we all can learn from. His approach is very rare on this forum, he roots on his team without malice towards the opponant. He's witty, funny, usually on topic, and he can rhyme. I look forward to meeting him in person some day.

Shanty was Mr. Positive and fair to all.
Some good animations too. Especially the ships.
Maybe he can help raise the PI-RATES to a new level!!!
This has been a very fun year.
And, I believe the "Up for Grabs" thread should go on FOREVERMORE.

Man, talk about something coming in under my radar. I had no idea of the connection between 2A and George. Why'd you change names?George Blanda wrote:Thanks CNT!!
My vote every year goes to Elliott70.
In my many years on here under 2AhockeyOldTimer and George Blanda, this is my first nomination. I am the man.
Who had a weak year, relatively speaking? The Empire.
My nominations, off the top of my head, go to IS and elliott70. Both have great insight and remarkably low signal-to-noise ratios. As an admin, the latter is especially important. Although, come to think of it, Mark didn't buy me a coke up in Hibbing when we met two seasons ago, so I suppose that should cost him a style point or two.

And both appear to be good Protestants (just for you, Joe

goldy also deserves a nod.
Mitch for Admin Of The Year. His counterpart is too cranky, dictatorial and just can't seem to get over hisself.

Most reasonable - boblee
Most entertaining - slapshooter
Most Important - easthockey
Most positive - George Blanda
Most interesting - Irishman's Shanty
Most important (in my part of the state) - Goldy313
Honorable mention - Neut/Elliott/packerboy/ChrisK
Enjoy you all (except a couple).
Thanks for all the info.
The board has improved, imo. Less chance of all-night hate-fests going on.
I switched my handle too, when we "crossed-over", George.
