I noticed on mshsl that some schedules are coming out for the 07-08 campaign. I have one question, why is Hermantown still playing I'Falls, Eveleth, Greenway, Virginia, and Hibbing, if they aren't in 7a anymore. Wouldn't they play more 5a games?

Interesting that Armstrong drops Mayo but keeps JM on their schedule.
I think that is interesting because JM graduated so much and it doesn't appear that they will be that good.

I hate to see what the Hibbing and Virginia scores will be against the Rockets this year after last season - ouch!

Anyone know anything about Grafton, ND? They play Century and Mayo.

Does anyone know if the Kiwanis teams will be the same this year?

Anyone know anything about Grafton, ND? They play Century and Mayo.

Don't know anything about the team but Chad Demers might be a player to watch for them. He was the leading sophomore scorer in North Dakota last winter. He also led a team called the North Dakota Starz to the "USA Hockey" Tier II 16 & Under national championship this spring and was the second leading scorer in the tournament. He will also be the only North Dakota player at Model Camp this summer.

No Hill-Murray vs. Johnson game this year. Wonder what happened...

I don't have any details, but I would imagine it's probably similar to running CDH out of the conference... coddling the "poor city kids". It's too bad, because Johnson generally played them pretty tough.

Maybe HM thought the Govs were getting a little too close to knocking them off!

Lech wanted to drop Johnson from the schedule several years ago. Moose called Lech and asked if they could play each other a couple years ago to open the renovated arena at Johnson. Lech wasn't thrilled about it, but he & Moose know each other pretty well & he agreed (actually agreed to another 2 yr committment). In that game, things got a little out of hand resulting in Arrigoni missing the following game (WBL). At that point Lech knew that the following season would end their tradition of playing each other. It was always a big game for the Govs and Hill's staff just wanted to get thru it without injuries and/or suspensions. Smart move for Hill.
