LaNdman u had a great great showing at state but how can u even compare to mr. zach buddish. hands down buddish should be in the final four of whos now and should be a good bid for the final. I don' have much to say n everyone knows about all the ype on buddish. This one a landslide in buddish's direction.

Agreed. Landman is deserving of a few votes though, Buddish just has him outmatched here.

Landman is a more complete player. Smaller but no one plays the game harder end to end.

boblee, you must be pretty darn bored to start polls comparing high school kids. I usually enjoy your posts, but these are just dumb

this is NOT espn, they are NOT pros, they are young kids who do read this and I think it's alittle bit sad that we need to cut them down

I do not have any kids at the high school level, I just think this is abit
over the top. Summer is almost over, hockey is around the corner, you will soon have lots to talk about

We should have a poll comparing boblee to ???

These kids will probably be talked about (good or bad) during the season, so why is there a problem doing it now. All these kids are on this "Who's now" because they are special hockey players. I don't see what's wrong comparing some of the best high school hockey players.

Cutting kids down? Have you read the posts on this board? It happens all the time here, and I don't think bob isn't contributing it at all... in fact just the opposite. It's opportunity to discuss the positive aspects of each of these kids - the fact that these 16 kids were chosen shows that they're highly thought of by fans of this board because because they were nominated by us. If a couple of idiots want to take advantage of the threads to take a cheapshot at a kid from their rival school, it's going to happen. It happens all over the board and we usually just blow them off anyway.

This "Who's Now" is meant to be a positive discussion of the kids. One rotten apple doesn't spoil the bunch.

Comparing high school kids? Isn't that what we do in every thread? Is the top ten Mr. Hockey candidates a bad thread? That is comparing high school kids. Or how about when people say who they think should win mr. hockey, or why a team should or did beat another team. All that is comparing high school kids too. Should we shut down those threads?

I think every kid in here would be happy to be considered in the top sixteen players in the state. Keep this going its better than 99.9% of the dumb questions that get asked on this site.
