Could be a tough weekend for the Dogs. Lets try to split?

But I will go with a loss N Michigan (41) and a win with Lake S.(31).

sounds like something they would do?

It will be interesting to see where Reid Ellingson is on the Northern Michigan depth chart on Saturday

It will be interesting to see who will step up to fill the shoes of Mason Raymond and Matt Niskanen who both departed last season following their Sophomore campaigns. Also, will Alex Stalock settle into the solid #1 that everyone in the state of Minnesota knows he has the potential to be. It will also be exciting to see some more local faces on the roster for Minnesota-Duluth as two more from Hermantown, Chad Huttel and Kyle Schmidt, join the team and one from Duluth, Rob Bordson, will all make their Bulldog debuts this weekend. I'm thinking UMD pulls it out over Lake State...

Minnesota-Duluth - 4
Lake Superior State - 3

They are 1-0-1. Not a bad start.

I predict a split. The DECC is a tough place to play in.
