We live in a country where most Americans are too lazy to dig for the facts.

The dems and their liberal media buddies are making it seem as if Bush is against helping poor children with health care. The fact is Bush was willing to increase the bill to 30 billion. Of course the dems want it to be over 60 billion.

Right here in MN over 90% of the money set aside for poor children and their health care is used by adults. Hmmmm................

Too bad most people look at a headline and take it as the gospel!

Yea, because most of us got convinced, somehow, that there were WMD in Iraq.

I'm not really giving you a bad time Carpenter, I'm just pointing out that both parties are pretty good at these techniques.

As you said, we all need to look deeper and determine what is really true and what is just politics.

I mean, we have three different countries that, while they all present serious problems for the United States -- they're dictatorships, they're involved in the development and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction -- you know, the most imminent, clear and present threat to our country is not the same from those three countries. I think Iraq is the most serious and imminent threat to our country."
