EV because if they lose another game they are supposed to win easy especially to in town rival AV things will not be good.

Should be a good game, AV was able to get shots on EP and should score some on weak EV goaltending. EV has some good forwards that should create some opputunities, I don't see AV getting blanked because of goaltending but they will need to finish better but from the sounds of EV-LS, they need to do a better job of that also even if it was Hakan in net. I do wish the new forwad Colton was playing though should change the offense when he returns against Rosemount, also Velin is still an unsure for the game so that would hinder AV defense. Overall great game tomorrow night can't wait to watch that one hopefully Valley pulls it out.

Eastview seems Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde like. If Apple Valley scores early and gets ahead it could be trouble for Eastview.

I am going with the upset here. AV over EV by two............open netter finish.

I think this will be more of a high scoring game with EV's offense and lack of goaltending. AV wins it 6-4 pending which goaltender starts, if its O'shea I go with that. Krob starts it may be lower, somethin like 6-2... I think EV has to come out and take it to them or they will be in trouble. If AV gets a lead I would expect them to pull away.

Lets just say EV is not the only team with a problem in the net. AV's goalie looked awful. When I left with 5 minutes left it was
EV-6
AV-2

EV first goal was a lucky one off of a kids skate/leg. Another goal was just kinda hit at in a little tangle and it slide under his skate and stick. Another goal he gave up giving up short side. Two other goals I remember where both PP's and a nice pass backdoor. EV was lucky to only give up 2 though with O'Shea in goal. One was on the line for 2 seconds till anyway hit it. And one other I remember they should have had. AV needs to work on finishing and maybe looking at giving Gretz a shot in net, I'm sure he may see time on Thursday against Mounds View. Number of penalties and I noticed EV was much faster.

Final Score

EV-7
AV-3

Maloney with a hat trick.

O' Shea was in nets... would of liked to see Krob.

I was only able to stay around for a little while but I did get updates from other individuals. What I saw was pure domination on the side of the Eastview Offense over the Eagles Defense. AV looked very undersized and even though it wasn’t a physical game they were outplayed and rubbed out in almost all aspects of the game. The UND recruit Fienhage looked very poor in the short time I was there setting up a couple breakaways with poor passes. The only thing that looked worse is the fact AV went down and shot them over the net. Does anyone know if he is going straight to ND or if he will be playing a year of juniors to fix a couple of the mental issues. Also the phantom sightings were out I think 20 from EV had 2 that I saw and someone else told me he had another on a goal that should have been called unassisted because Maloney took the puck away from a defender and scored a goal. Somehow there were supposedly 2 assists on the play. It was too bad seeing those players go up to the scoring booth after their plays to get unearned points. I would think if Gibbons was around that wouldn’t be acceptable. Even with these factors from the short part of the game I saw those three players of 20, Perry and Maloney could be the best line in the state. Other than that Eastview may be struggling to match up with their 2nd and 3rd lines.

Saturday will show their depth as they will face a good Edina team. I think we may see EV’s weakness of not spreading out their talent.
