Two Twin City teams Hill Murray and Eden Prairie are heading north to play Roseau and Warroad Friday night and Saturday should be great hockey!

Sounds like fun. Hope the driving isn't too bad on the way home.joehockey wrote:Two Twin City teams Hill Murray and Eden Prairie are heading north to play Roseau and Warroad Friday night and Saturday should be great hockey!
As far as the games are concerned, you would think HM and EP will have the advantage against these two teams, especially depth-wise. But, playing at home with the cities teams coming in, I'm sure they'll be fired up and will want to show they can compete. Too bad it isn't a tournament format - would like to see how HM would do against EP.
HM and EP actually scrimmaged for an hour and a half on Tuesday at EP to get ready for the weekend. EP has several incredible players.
EP scored first on Penalty Shote, HM scored next two and EP scored twice in last 5 minutes to win 3-2. HM skated 4 lines EP 3. It would be very interesting to see them meet and maybe they will some where down the line.....I think HM is young and will get better as the season goes on.

Maybe you didn't understand the question. You gave me NO information on the makeup of Hill Murray. Check the White Bear Lake roster over the years and tell me where their youth players play High school hockey. Maybe you didn't hear about the consolidation of Warroad/Williams/Opportunity.winnings not 4 everyone wrote: Before you go off on THIS subject, try to defend Hill Murray as a neighborhood school.

Great game by Warroad. They skated there hearts out. Up north there is great hospitality and it was a shame that only a few EP girls went upstairs to accept the gracious offer of a supper. Some of the ones that did go were not very friendly. They expected a win and not a tie. In my opinion, they all should have been there. The coach should have encouraged them all to attend. Win or lose, sportsmanship is a top priorty.joehockey wrote:Friday Games:

BM - Not sure if you were (I was)- But the whole team for EP WAS there for the Potluck - Which was a awesome thing for Warroad to do. EP took pictures with ALL the parents JV and Varsity in the lobby after they eat..And we chatted with a few of the Warroad parents - I thought it was a great time.
Warroad did play very well.
