The March to March HS pick em thread !

Post by Can't Never Tried »

This thread is for discussion on the weekly HS pick em games.
Let's make it last until March as in the title

Other then that, it's a wide open topic we can have fun with.

It looks like I saw only one 9 point sweep by mario58, other then that, there were several 8's, and I think I saw a couple 4's

I'm not sure the 9 is correct, I looked quick and couldn't find his picks. Might have missed them though. And I know one eight isn't true either. I'm hoping he'll edit.

I missed the tie, TRF and Centennial

He got it, totally legit.

I say it goes til the end of the regular season. We have a sections contest and a state contest, make this the regular season contest.

I really wouldn't be able to come up with anything anyway. Most of my ideas and thoughts are locked out right now.

You've heard of writer's block.......same deal.

But let's think about it. March, hmmmm, what goes on in March?

Maybe Ill come up with something, if you can Wait.

Well so far I'm 4 for 6 of the games played this week :?
Didn't think Breck could pull off the win over CDH :x , and WBL showed that they do in fact have what it takes.. and squeaked by DE.
How's every one else looking?

I'm not doin so hot this week. Tough to pick em this early in the year, hopefully I'll get a better feel for teams as the year goes on.

I got 7 out of ten correct. I would be surprised if someone picked all three of the following: Breck, Rosemount, and Minnetonka.

Buffalo let me down as well.

Can't see how Breck beats CDH then loses to Red Wing?
WBL is proving they can get it done so far, as DE is not clicking yet.. so it appears.
And well, I was going with the homer game with Buffalo, but the spuds weren't having any of that and gave em a good drubbing.
So I'm at least consistant at 70% :D

Not after being shutout by Cloquet - who lost to South St. Paul earlier.

That's 2 pretty tough back to back games for the Bears...so i wouldn't put that much stock in todays game.
I didn't see them winning against DE but they opened my eyes a bit.
