Andrew Ford the ep tender
Is andrew ford the best bantam goalie in the state for eden prarie???
Why is he playing batams still, shouldnt he be playing highschool?
Where does he go to school? He would really give his highschool a huge boost if he played.

No disrespect to ASF but he's had the best goaltending instruction money can buy since age 8. The bigger question is he a humble, repectable young man?

I would add a couple of observations on goalies:
1) it is sometimes easy for a goalie to look very good when they play on the best team with the best defense. A truer test would be how he does when playing behind a weak team against some quality shots;
2) goalies are one of those positions that often develop into elite goalies at a later age. I would give a couple of years high school experience before tooting the horn too loud.

I agree with both points and more so with #2. I would even say after HS is when the very good goalies really start showing their true ability. Everything up until then is good enjoyment and fun to watch. I would use Frazee as the prefect example of this. He was the next best thing to slice bread before college.windtomyback wrote:I would add a couple of observations on goalies:

Don't believe everything you read!
Hey folks, beware of first time posters like spudskis. This isn't the first time some anonymous fool has set this trap. It's doubtful that any kid is stupid enough to sabotage one of his teammates or himself with such an idiotic post.
