I wanna know where everyone is at on their thought about egf winning...what has park lost and what has egf lost? what has egf gained and what has park gained?...and who has gotten that much better?....im making my decision from part of last year when PR tied EGF in the section tournament(I think it was sections)...park didnt really lose much at all...so i guess I dont see where people are going?fill me in my friends.....

I believe it all depends on what EGF team shows up.
In the sectional against TRF last spring, they lost their cool.
I believe that directly relates to the new Coaches ability to control the tempers
If Chupka can control them, then I see EGF winning by at least 3 goals.
It looked like they were playing a pretty even game with Roseau on Saturday. However, the boxscore indicated they got in to a lot of penalty problems throughout the game that finally did them in.
I also remember the Bemidgi box score showing a lot of penalties for the Wave (elves).
Does Chupka have control or not?
If not, the outcome is much less predictable.
EGF 5 - 2 - PR

Hmm....I think this proves what we've thought all along; PR fans have a skewed sense of reality.....

this is for all your LERHKE haters, name one team he cant skate around.
everyone has to admit that he is a great player and yes he does get talked up a bit but he can back it up. lerhke is a great player for park but he's not the only score'r they have alot of players who put up points like coborn, mcmorrow, and knapp they all put up pretty good numbers
pr-3
egf-1

There is quite a bit more help this year...not a BUNCH more but its better..and our net(smith) has gotten MUCH better since last year...it will be interesting once the time comes around....but in reality if you put lehrke up against any ONE defensive player..its over....thats quite obvioushockeyfan...pr wrote:SB24 wrote:warroadhockeyfan...pr wrote:this is for all your LERHKE haters, name one team he cant skate around.

I dont know why people keep saying PR goaltending is better or worse than last yr.SiouxRecruit wrote:There is quite a bit more help this year...not a BUNCH more but its better..and our net(smith) has gotten MUCH better since last year...it will be interesting once the time comes around....but in reality if you put lehrke up against any ONE defensive player..its over....thats quite obvioushockeyfan...pr wrote:SB24 wrote: warroad

Mark Smith was just as important as any player on the pr team last yr. He played pretty well all year long and in sections he was the main reason warroad didn't win 8-0
He's a pretty good goaltender, problem is he doesnt get many looks at all because of where he is from.
He may be a little better and more confident this yr, but then again he was solid last yr
