If the Flyers lay an egg looking past Willmar to Rochester Lourdes on Sat., they could lose. But its their home opener, and I think that will help them play well. I'm thinking the Flyers win 7-2.
Really mature thing to say(givememoorehead), considering the question is LF vs Willmar. Anyway, I think LF will dominate this game easily, watch out for another hat trick from Ben Hano.
this could get ugly reaal quick, Willmar cant score even on the power play, like 0 for 8 against LDC last weekend and goaltending is still a question,Flyers 9 Willmar 1
This one was kind of ugly. Willmar led 1-0 after the first. LF tied it midway through the second. Third period started 1-1, and ended 7-1. LF won going away. Beau Hanowski had 4 goals, Ben had 2. I can't remember who scored the other LF goal. LF did not play well till half way through the 2nd. Then they got in cink and ripped them apart. I hope they play better on Saturday or they'll be on the receiving end of a drubbing.
Their first penalty kill sucked, Willmar scored quickly in their first powerplay. Its hard to determine from this game as Willmar was weak offensively. D looked ok from the 2nd period on I thought. LF can play physical. They got a few guys willing to hit.
BTW, Whitlow was in net, not Sperl. Not sure if that means Sperl lost the job, or just splitting duty.

They looked weak the first two periods, the third is when they rised and shined, looked like the Flyers again!
