Park Rapids barking too loud?

Post by SiouxRecruit »

Are PR fans still barking too loud?...id like to know what people think if they WATCHED the game....??....Im taking a wild guess PR needs to beat TRF AND warroad before we can make any noise?...hopefully Im wrong....

I saw a better Park Rapids team come out on top. Although Christianson wasn't in net I still feel PR would have won. It should have been over after 3 anyhow......

Just like the 5-3 win was a blow out right? Yes, you are barking too loud. You beat EGF without Christensen...congrats. If you are asking for serious responses i would say yes, of course you are over hyping this team...but hey, it gives me entertainment at least.

I would love to see pr come out of this section.

but, this win doesnt mean anything right now, they need to take care of alot of business down the road.

Pr has beaten egf a few times the last few years in the regular season and then egf beat them in sections.

I do think PR is the better team, but they need to prove it down the stretch

and one more thing...I think this game did and does mean something right now for Park....tonights game could have been a spark to a big fire....but yes they have a lot more tests down the road and good luck to them from PR fans....and yours truely Siouxrecruit...but who besides ChristainsON was missing?...5 players?

When/if we get out of Section 8 then we can start barking. Until then, anything and everything is pretty much worthless. If you want my honest opinion, there is a bit too much hype here...

a bit of reality from Schwang, refreshing. No, i wasn't at the game last night, Warroad played Hibbing but do you honestly believe you beat the real EGF team last night? didn't think so.

No excuses - a win is a win.
Good job PR.
Sounded like Zach Knapp had a real good game.

Does Zach Luerke have any college offers? I watched him at the nikebauer invite this fall and came away pretty impressed. He was fast, slippery in the corners, good hands, nice shot. Just wondering what others think about him?

Just do a little reading in 8A threads, a simple discussion about Hallock's concession stand or TRF's jerseys seems to end up as a discussion about PR.

This win means absolutely nothing. EGF was missing yes 5 players and there best player there goalie.

MISSING PLAYERS

1. Christiason Starting G
2. Casey Wood 2nd line D
3. Nick Ohman 1st line D
4. John Peterson 3rd line D
5. Brandon Peabody 2nd line D left after 2nd peroid after the cheap shot from behind.
6. Cody Grassel. 3rd line D

7. Kody Viznor left after 2nd peroid. Best D-Man. 1st line.

So basically they beat half the EGF team. 2 of there forward were playing Defense. So to say there the better team is a joke. a 6-5 win in OT. Wait till sections.

I disagree again... The win means they could get a better seed in the section tournament. Also, it doesnt matter who wasnt dressed, the scoreboard is what matters. Yes, they had players missing but at the same time EGF couldnt pull it out. For now it is legit to say that PR is the better team, but as you pointed out "wait till sections."

Wow, if this is true, then I have to disagree with the PR lovers.

Yes, PR gets the win; congrats for that. But, if all of these players were missing for the elves, then, I do not think that anybody can say that one team is better than the other. Certainly, if Lerhke and McMorrow, and the starting goalie were missing for PR, and they lost in overtime, would you be saying that EGF is the better team?

I think not.

It is unfortunate that EGF was missing so many players. Irregardless of the reason for it.

So, as somebody said earlier, we'll see at the sectionals.

:? :? :? :? :?

I believe the scoreboard is where you need to be looking... I thought it was a PR win... If you lose to that team and have the same record, the tie breaker is head to head. THUS PR is above EGF...

give me a break, i'm getting sick of EGF blaming the loss on missing players. PR was missing Brandon Mickleson due to injury who was on Lehrke's line against silver bay and got a hat trick. And Bill Winkler got ejected early in the second because of the "cheap hit", which shouldn't have been more than a boarding. EGF wasn't missing any of their studs. A win is a win, get over it. Especially driving 2.5 hrs and beating them in their own barn.

I haven't decided what's more pathetic to read...PR fans gloating about a single win or PR fans over-inflated sense of their team as well as themselves or PR players on here justifying their win or an Elves fan moaning about the loss because of who wasn't playing or PR fans countering with they were missing what is a mediocre forward that plays with their superstar or PR and Elf fans naming themselves Warriors or a Bagleyite on the PR bandwagon spewing half @ssed remarks. Here's what it sounds like in dog speak...yip, yip , yip, yap, yip, yap, yip, yap, yap, yap, yap, yip, yip, yap, yip, yap, yip, yip, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap, yip, yip, yip, yip, yap, yip, yip, yip, yap, yap, yip. Everybody else is sitting back going.. (TRF) (WAR) (KC) (BEM) (CROX) (RLF) Get the picture?

UHL-
For downgrading everyone else on commenting on the topic, you sure are pretty quick to reply to EVERYONES posts. As for the post itself... It is a W in the win column no matter who didn't play for EITHER team.
