Hill-Murray Vs. Whitebear..Saturday 12/22

Post by thetender30 »

Hill Murray is probably the favor here specially now that Whitebear lost villinuve, lenartson, and desmidt, but can collet and the bears pull off an upset like tartan did last saturday?

If both teams come to play, it should be a good game. Hill's overconfidence might be their downfall, just like last week against Tartan.

You can rest assured that they will not be over confident coming into this game. The Tartan game should have proven to them that you can't just show up and win. Great game by the way.

I'm picking White Bear to win 19-2...

Hopefully I will be disappointed

I understand Hill has quite a roster this year and WB just loss to Park, but I don't think you can really classify WB winning as an upset. WB still has a solid team and when they play Hill, it's almost always a close game. Obviously the teams aren't even, and Hill is better, but WB isn't so much worse than them to the point where it would be called an upset.

My take..

White Bear- 3

Hill Murray- 2

I know my Pioneers were "Manhandled" by Tartan. However I think they will rebound nicely and win this one.

Seems like WBL is off to a solid start again this season. Didn't they beat Moorhead and Duluth East? Any team that knocks off East is a favorite of mine so I'll give them the edge in the rivalry game. 3-2 Bears.(On top of that, a buddy of mine is from Hill and hates when I go against him)

Joe flip has struggled the past couple of games and I look for him to rebound.

I can only guess that Hill's Main campus team will be better prepared after the loss to the Central campus team. Although they did out shoot Central, many of those were panic shots due to being behind in the score. If they had just calmed down and set up some beautiful passing plays, for a higher percentage chance of scoring (as was with their first goal), it would have definitely been a different outcome.

It was obvious to me that Hill Central "wanted it more" - and in many cases the advantage goes to the team with that desire. Hill Main wanted it more in the end but their effort was too little too late.

Hill rebounds after their tough loss to Tartan. Should be an excellent game, Goldy might be in attendance.

On paper it's Hill by no less than 3. This will be a game that WB can't win unless the goalie stands on his head. Hill has to much firepower for WB to contend this year. We must throw some emotion on this game and if WB gets some early and can maintain it they will play the game tougher than it looks. I still see a Hill win here by 2 or 3. If Hill rides the emotion and maintains it they could really win by a much larger margin than 2 or 3.

After Hill loses to SSP tonight, there is no way they will lose 3 in a row.
