It was a tie 1-1. Very close game, each team had chances to win late in the game, Jefferson's Tommy O'donnel had a breakaway with about 3 minutes left in the third was stopped by the Trojans goalie. Good game overall for both teams.

Wayzata doesn't seem to be missing Howe too much.

Jefferson apparently had a few kids sick with the flu or injured or somethin' in this one...2-3 guys didn't play.

Jefferson Varisty had a full bench although they mostly played 2 lines. It was their JV team that had a short bench, 6 forwards and 4 defense dressed.

that is because they pulled up jv kids for the varsity game. they were so short players that one of the jv goalies skated out.

Uh... I've got bad news for you.

I have a feeling this pick isn't quite right!

Why would they miss one of the best HS goalies in the state who happens to play the most important position on a team? :-k

Because they have an adequate replacement? I thought that was fairly obvious from the statement.
There should be a little kudos being handed out, for adept covering of what many believed to be a crisis situation for Wayzata.
It appears as though the sky didn't fall, after all, Chicken Little. #-o
