This will be a very good game. Both teams are strong. This is a great tournament. RR should not be unknown to Twin city hockey fans any longer. Sounds like the Jaguar and Roughrider game was awesome with a shootout. Central kept the score close for 2 with the Rams.

I have to pick the Rams in this, but the Jags proved they are very good with a win over RR.

I thought the game oficially was a tie. but the shootout was used to create a "winner for tournament purposes"?

I dont want to soudn mean but does anyone else in minnesota think that the BJ fans are cry babys? I mean, they went and told secruity that RR fans behind them were cheering too loudly and they securiy moved the whole RR section Whats up with that.

This was an amazing game to see, the first ever buzzer beater i s've seen in my life......The Jags were killing a penalty in the last 20 sec of the game and roseau shot and tipped a puck from the point and it hit the back of the net as the time in the game expired. Roseau wins 4-3 in a great game to see.
Roseau showed why they were number 1 by pulling out in this one as winners but the Jags proved they are a good team as well by getting past RR who was by far the best team the Jags have played this year (the Jags have played teams like b'ville and rosemount so far) and you have to give props to both team for an amazing game with an epic finish to boot

Oh yea, another thing i must add is that aaron ness is unbelievable. He maybe at sometimes a little to offenseive-minded for a defensemen but in Roseau's game versus GR Central roseau was losing for most of the first 2 periods but this kid single handily took over for roseau to win. I don't believe he scored in the Championship game vs Jefferson but he played solid.
One last thing: I think the Jags, even though they lost made a statement in the game versus roseau that there a good team. All i know is that roseau lost to moorhead twice during the regular season last year but beat them when it mattered. With this being said, I don't know if the Jags can get out of their section but if they happened too and the rams did as well i'd love to see these teams play again come time in march.

I heard that students from Red River tried to pick fights with Jefferson fans. The Jefferson fans were there to watch hockey, so if I were one of them, I would have done the same thing.

I'd agree with the fact the red river fans were trying to pick fights because the whole crowd seemed a little cocky, which was fine i mean red river was undefeated until then anyway...

Jefferson isn't back. Roseau couldn't handle the puck, hit four goal posts, and even Ness was struggling. Yet, through all of this Roseau basically dominated play.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the Jefferson of old.

I think your just trying to make them look bad by saying that....if I'm not mistaken they played roseau better than any other team they've played this year so.....the fact it took a goal in the last fraction of a second for the number one team in state to beat them i think they're at least pretty good (and if you think someone by saying their back as in their back to the '93 team or what not...nobody will get to that...not even edina)
