Hopkins vs. St. Paul Johnson - Round I

Post by Govs93 »

I realize this isn't thread worthy, but I thought I'd lighten the mood.

Although - after today I'll say it might be time to start taking the Royals a little more seriously. I'm not going to say they're in line for a state title or anything, but they look like they could be a good young club for the next few years.

Once they get out of this tournament, they'll get to the teeth of their schedule in the Classic Lake, then we'll see what they're really made of. In the meantime, the Govs should (emphasize should) be able to give them the biggest fight they've seen outside of Hermantown & Anoka. We'll see.

Hopkins has an excellent goalie and good team play...they will beat Johnson by a couple goals...but will lose to Woodbury in the Final
