Simley vs. NSP 1/3/08

Post by Got2luvhockey »

today i witnessed the worst case of officiating ever in high school hockey. Simley won their first game over NSP... 4-3 in overtime. Refs had so many kids in the box that there was standing room only.

sinking low spot for NSP was the last goal which brought the NSP goalie to anger ive never seen. The puck was shot into him, he held onto it and then two hacks on simley PUSHED HIM into the goal. no whistle once he froze the puck in his possession - which was common all night.

i hope simley doesn't rest too much on this win. without the refs, they are actually 0-12 now.

not sure what nsps problem is... i still say its the coaches. no consistency between the lines and there is a 9th grader who has never even played bantams out there on varsity - not producing either. someone must be paying them to lose.

Are you the dad of the kid who the freshman beat out? OR the actual kid who got beat out?
It is what it is!

I believe Simley actually beat Providence Academy 7-0 in the Hilltopper Classic so they wouldn't be 0-12 son. Just a thought. :D
Ben Dover plays BOTH ways.

You are correct that Simley defeated Providence Academy 7-0 on Dec. 28th.
