I saw him play at the Burnsville Bantam A tournament this year. He is a Big boy like in the 6" 4"" if my memory serves me right. He didn't have much speed or skill though. He also got kicked out of the championship game for arguing over a penalty called on him.

Yes Vince Nash does play Bantam A for CP, and he attended HS at Totino-Grace this semester. Next semester he will be transfering back to CP, making him not eligble for varsity hockey next season.

Nash is a big boy, not only tall but huge too. He is a decent player, but he is pretty lazy and quite slow. In what I have seen, his success in that Bantam draft has made him think he is better than he actually is :x

Why would playing for a youth hockey program make you ineligible to play varsity at the high school level?
What are the "High School" transfer rules/guidelines?

As of this prep season, a new rule stand. I a student transfers from one HS to another, after being enrolled in the first HS, he/she is ineligible to play varsity sports for one year. Vince Nash was enrolled at TG and is now going to be attending CP. This makes him ineligible next season. This new rule, I think, will put an end to the HS recruiting age. Now private schools and public schools to practice recruiting will have to find their recruits before they enroll in HS. Kind of hard to find the future best players when they are in eighth grade.

I believe his transfer makes him inelligible for the first half of next year's season if he is able to enroll at CP by the start of this years last semester. He s/b able to practice HS/JV when the season starts and begin to play games sometime in mid January.

I can't remember if the "half season" is defined by when they complete playing half of their games or when the season reaches the half point as far as calendar days goes.
