Minnetonka @ Benilde 1-19-08

Tonka's facing last years coach Ken Pauly and the Red Knights. My prediction, Tonka 3-2 in OT.

Tonka in a barn-burner. I'll say 5-4, look for Tonka's first line, plus Hansen and Gardiner to come up huge in this game. Krueger in nets also, should have a solid game.

I think it will come down to whose goaltender plays better.

Section 6aa final preview. Both squads seem very discipline this year, a must in this game. (I faintly remember issues in the tunnel last year between these 2 teams, with BSM's Pauly at MTKA)

That aside, this should be one of the best hockey games of the year!

Pauly will be able to scout his old team and design a winning game plan. BSM handles Tonka 4-1.

yup......Tonka is the better team, but pauly knows EVERYTHING about them. Look for Student to stand out this game.

Look for sophmore Jake Rossman to score at least two for Minnetonka.

Didn't BSM win last year 9-2 at Pagel?

BSM - Mtka

Post by blueblood »

hockeyexprt1:

Don't you think Mtka scouted BSM so coach Urich could design a winning game plan also?

Parrish4Pres:

Pauly doensn't know everything about this team. He's never had 6 of the 8 sophomores, along with 3 of the 4 juniors, on the current team play for him while he was the Tonka varsity coach.

This should be a good game. I'll give the home team the 1 goal advantage and I would n;t be surprised if this one goes OT.

My prediction:

If Buonomo isn't the winning goalie, Krueger will see the nets come playoff time....

Gonna be a close game, but my nod goes to the Knights. They've got great speed and reasonable depth.

This should be one of the most fast-paced games you'll see. Not a lot of size between these two squads either. Will be a good one...

Benilde's forwards are too deep and talented even for Tonka's stellar defense and Tonka has very little threat up front.

Haha, don't worry hockeyguru is from Minnetonka and either is this jake rossman kid or one of his buddies. He shouldn't have made the team but on a side note...

Tonka 4
