let's see - brother vs. brother.
that alone might be worth the price of admission.

Bears are playing very well as a unit after the thrashing by Roseville.

White Bear 5-1
Wolter will score one and Fiala will get 2 coming off the suspension.

Do you think the older brother will be bitter during the hand shake?

It'll be interesting to see what happens between the Wolter brothers.

I just can't see this happening. Fiala, Owen and Hauswirth are going to be pumped as well after sitting at Hastings. It also helps that WB is at home and always brings a huge cheering section. MV typically has a smaller section at hockey but big at basketball. WB will run away with this one.

2-0 Bears after two periods. Mounds View had what seemed like a goal, but the officials thought otherwise. The net may have been off. Goals by Hoffman and Wolter.

White Bear 3

Mounds View 1

Ryan Wolter with a goal and an assist. I thought his goal hit the crossbar and never went in. Sweet pass by Wolter to Lowell for a tap in on Bears 3rd goal. Very physical game that never did get chippy.

Sounds like a good game what where the shots. Heard another MV player walked off the team a couple of days ago. Any truth to that?

31 or 32 for the Bears, I think, and only 15 for Mounds View. WB dominated the play but had trouble putting the puck in the net.

A Hastings player quit their team during Thursday's game with White Bear.

MV goalie is pretty good. I've seen him play a few times and keeps the mustangs in the game. Sound like he might have done that again tonight.

Yes he is a pretty good goalie. It has to suck for some of these guys when you are a good goalie but your team is crap. You just automatically know your goal of going to the tourney isn't going to happen unless you play unbelieveable.

Now on the other side having a bad team in front of you can make playing goalie the most fun thing ever. You know your'e going to get a decent amount of shots every night and you can hold your team in a game if you get in a groove.

Does anyone know the story of the Wolter brothers? I've been to a fair number of WBL games thus far this year, and it seems to me like Ryan Wolter has really turned it on. Is he really only a 10th grader?
