Blaze 4-1.
Do they have all of their players back yet? Canterbury is still open...
Of all the 2nd tier teams in the lake, south is the team that will cause the most damage in the 2nd half. Great goaltending and a team that is getting better. Not good enough to beat the Braves tonight though.
BV 4
LS 1
as i always say, lakeville has a chance because burnsville did lose to eagan....But with mcduff and gustavson coming back im saying burnsville wins by 6.
LS plays the type of game that can beat Burnsville. They play hard and physical and they could slow Burnsville down. Plus they have in my opinion the best goalie in the conference and he always gives them a shot to win. There not playing on the olympic sheet at Ames anymore either.
6-3 final burnsville, shots 31 apiece, was 4-3 with 4 minutes to go and ls kinda came unglued. Actually a vey good game with lakeville just unable to handle Barnes who was outstanding in this one.
this game was different though for fans. Lakeville had loud fans for the first two periods and burnsville was cheering as well. After barnes scored in the third he gave a small taunt toward the lakeville fans while he skated by. Burnsville fans showed some life after 10+ games of silence since edina
South as usual solid goaltending and they also held there own for at least 2/3's of the game but when it came down to it B'ville was the more talented team......South has to keep their heads up though because there is no one that has a quality team like b'ville in their section and if they can keep up some solid play going into playoffs they might get a ticket to state...which is ironic because b'ville might not because lets just say their section is a little bit harder than 1AA lol
