So.St.Paul at Mahtomedi 1/24

Tomorrow nights matchup is key for section 4a seeding between the two. the packers won the first meeting 3-2 at home. this should be a pretty good game. Any thoughts on it?

with this win do you think it will lock ssp as the 2nd seed and mahtomedi as the 3rd?

what about everyone else (besides sta) in 6a?

It is actually 4A but Yes. Then Totino most likely will be the 4 seed, and Minnehaha probably 5th, then Chisago, Spring Lk Park, etc.

Also the CSC will now most likely end up looking like this:

1. Winner of STA v. HM 2/9
2. Loser of STA v. HM 2/9
3. SSP
4. Tartan
5. Mahtomedi
6. Richfield
7. NSP
8. Simley
9. Sibley

The score was 5-1 going into the third period. Mahtomedi came out with a new game plan for the third period. Crash the net, screen the goalie and shoot shoot shoot. I think they had about 15 shots in the third period alone but most of them hit legs in front with all the screeners, but the ones that did make it past all the legs in front, also found the back of the net because the goalie, Adam Wilcox(freshman) couldn't see the puck.

SSP dominated the first two periods and Mahtomedi gave them a game at the end. Never did tie it up, It was 5-4 then 6-4 and ended 6-5 with a pulled goalie.
