Lacresent Coach Quits with 14-4 record?

Post by Jim9000 »

Anybody have any more info on this?

Why quit in the middle of the season with such a good year going?

Got this off the 1A thred. Any other info???
Coach Fired/Resigned?

Is this public info, was there any information in the newspapers over there?

Are there any legal issues binding?

Sounds like a cover-up to me.

Anyway, looks like it's the best thing for your program, and a long time coming.

How long was he the coach there?

Randy was head coach for the last 4 seasons. He had his best talent last year and he did not do the team or Eriah Hayes any favors. Kids ran the team. He frankly does not know much about hockey. A lot of wind. Every year he stirred up a lot of controversey. He was always looking for the shock factor when dealing with kids and adults.

There has not been anything in the paper. I am sure that he had to resign or the school would have fired him. It is the best thing for our program. Andy Klingsporn applied 4 years ago and it is too bad he did not get it at that time.

Maybe they were a painful 4 losses. Usually these things work themselves out. I heard even Bill Butters found another job coaching after his , err resignation...

Have not heard anything...nobody's talking about it in the 1A thread. Kind of surprises me that a guy would resign on his own in the middle of a season with a 14-4 or whatever record.
