The kitties are prepping to do a little ram hunting. A little wind isnt going to get in their way.

Like throw them in the river or set them on fire or something. I really like their white and their navy blue jerseys, but the baby blue jerseys gotta go!

Oh yeah, 4-3 Bengals

I like to refer to them as Columbia Blue or "Bengal" Blue. I love those sweaters! When I went to Blaine, Columbia Blue and White were our school colors. I don't even think we had the navy trim back then. But since they changed to Navy, I love it when the where the "Old Bengal Blues"! Anyway, I'd like think Blaine will win this one, but Anoka should come out with the win!

Blaine can be a good team and so can Anoka. It all depends who shows up. If Anoka scores 1st, I'll take Anoka by 3.
If Blaine scores 1st, I'll take Anoka by 1.

Anoka vs. Blaine

For the 1st time this season, Anoka scores first...then loses.

Anoka led 1-0 after one period, but took way too many penalties tonight and it came back to haunt them...Blaine scores 3 power-play goals in the second period...Anoka scores one PP goal..but ends the last minute of the 2nd period with Olstad taking a 5 minute major for checkng-from-behind. In the 3rd period...Anoka kills off remaining 4:40 Blaine PP by drawing 2 penalities on Blaine...but once back to even strengh...but trailing 4-2 Anoka puts Scott with O'Neill & Belisle and the remainng 2nd line players get scored on to seal the game for Blaine.

Although he let in 7 goals, I thought JD Wells played solidly in goal for Anoka and gave them a chance to win, but penaties by Anoka and great puck movement on Blaine's 2nd period PP goals was the difference tonight.

The sophomore goalie for Blaine also made some big saves tonight...Not sure who scored for Blaine...but I think Schaber & Johnson both had a couple and Hansen at least one,,,Bjugstad also played great for a freshman...for Anoka...O'Neill scored 3 goals...Scott & Belisle with 2 assists each...I believe.

Anoka didn't play smart hockey tonight...too many dumb penalties and (Oh yeah, I almost forgot) the turning point of the game came with the score tied 1-1..and an Anoka defenseman simply slipped and fell down skating backwards... leading to a break-away goal by Bayer...so all in all...its was Blaine night.

One of my buddies who was at the game, and MaxPreps says Anoka won 3-2. Blaine was up 2-1 in the 2nd, but Anoka came back and won it.

If the Blaine coaches turned in a 3-2 score I'm OK with it :o :o :o

But in reality...Blaine won the game 7-3...I was there.

The MSHSL site is saying it was 7-3 Blaine - Anoka stats were entered for the game that do give O`Neill the hat trick and JD Wells with 7 Goals Against.

Can somebody confirm what actually happened?

The MaxPreps website does not have any stats entered. I'm leaning towards believing that the 7-3 score is right...
