I was actually going to ask if anyone had heard yet on the big Kittson upset of Park Rapids, but jokingly. Hah! Where does that put them now in section 8a? I guess 2nd still.

Here's the scoop... PR did lose 3-2 to Kittson... Lerhke had both goals. Another goal was waived off because the whistle blew when the puck was in the open otherwise we would have had OT. But there was issues..

PR played terrible the whole 2nd period. Our Bantam team could have beat them in the 2nd. (maybe a little exaggerating there) Passes were missed and stupid passes were made. D got caught to far deep many times as well. Secondly, our goalie was not there tonight. He was really off. Should have gloved the first goal, but went off edge of glove and in. Second goal was just poor goaltending. 3rd goal was a decent one by Kittson.

Basically, they did not show up to play ande blew the game themselves. They had a ton of chances towards the end, but Kittson Goaltender came up BIG... Hats off to Kittson for staying strong and smelling blood. Maybe this was good for PR? Knock them off their pedestal a little and make them work harder. Even though I am a PR fan, based on how they played tonight, they did not deserve to win this one at all.

I know Kittson was pumped and so were the fans that showed up.. Once again Hats off to Kittson for getting the job done.
