5AA Championship Game/Hockey Pucks

Post by DoubleDeuce »

First - The 5AA Championship game at the Coliseum is Friday February 29 at 6:00 pm followed by the 4AA game. Could anybody confirm this for me?

Second - I collect hockey pucks. I'd like to add some with high school logos. The only one I have ever seen is Centennial. Does anybody know of any others and where to get them? There has to be some out there!

According to mshsl.org, your information is correct. It used to be 4AA followed by 3AA anyway. My question is if the 5AA championship game comes down to Blaine and Centennial (which it should), who ya goin' with?

I would have to go with Centennial. My son plays in the Centennial youth hocky organization. I graduated from Blaine, but didn't play hockey. So either way one of my teams would go.

I played Mite hockey in Coon Rapids, and they always just gave us stupid "Participation pucks" which was a puck with the CR logo on it.

Unfortunately, I'm 99.99 percent sure I dont have one still, as I've moved 3 times since then. It wouldn't have made the cut on packing day. And that was 11 years ago, by now they might give out real trophies.

Can I have them? Just kiddin'. What I'd like to know is where I can get them. The Wild make/sell dozens of different ones and the Gophers make/sell quite a few as well. They must sell them! I would think the high school programs would have them as well, but I never see them anywhere. If you know WHERE I could get them, that would be great. I'll be at the Crimson game tonight. Maybe they will have some huh?

I know that Jefferson, Minnetonka, Chaska and St. Francis have their own team pucks.
