Were they about the first to add the football mentality/strength to the game? Right around then was their heyday in football.

I do know that they had a lot of 3 spots athletes then. I think they won the hockey title in 85 & 86 along with a runner up football title in 84 and championship in 85.

Did Scott Bloom and Mark Oseicki play on those football teams too?
