Since my Como team got knocked out by lowly Johnson I will have to go with Chaska and Edina. Highland and Irondale won't win a game and Mpls/Park may win once if they are lucky.

I predict that Eden Prairie will be the team to beat. Chaska has been very impressive. Can they keep it going? They're playing on their home rink. We'll see!
There will be some great games.

Games start tomorrow. Any predictions?

I predict EP will come out on top.

Semi Finals (Crossover Day Based on Pool Play):
Chaska (3-0 in pool play) vs. EP (2-1 in pool play) - EP in the upset
Edina (3-0 in pool play) vs. Mpls. Park (2-1 in pool play) - Team Cake

Edina over EP in the Championship - Both off to State

Rematch in the state tourney championship game? Time will tell.
The two teams that advance from this region may likely meet again in the final game of the season.

EP is my choice as well...However, I strongly disagree with lamplighter.

My "teams advancing to state" guess was good in spite of not being entirely accurate with the outcomes of pool play. Too bad for Chaska; a very nice, hard working, sportsman-like team that came up one game short from playing at state. That was some game (!) between the junior Hawks & Hornets. I could not help but pull for purple, but best wishes EP and Edina.

My guess now is that EP will win the whole thing.

It was probably the best display of what association hockey was all about. Talk about a sense of community and association pride.
The bleachers were rocking.

Many of the squirts were there as they came out of the locker room to cheer them on. The HS coach gave them permission to use the HS varsity boys locker room. HS coach was there in attendance for all the Chaska games. The Chaska team was one of the best coached teams I have seen at this age. They moved the puck extremely well. It was as good as any HS atmosphere there was this past year. Both goalies made exceptional stops in overtime. Both teams battled to the end.

I got to go with D6
