This is a tribute

Post by boblee »

Well here it is folks, the long awaited (or probably not) 10,000th post by the one and only boblee. I joined this site on December 11th, 2004. In the past 1,184 days I have managed to share my hockey (or nonhockey) wisdoms with you folks 10,000 times without being booted out by Mitch or Lee. I am the first to hit this milestone, but I am sure I won't be the last. It has been amazing to see the huge increase in numbers and knowledge on the "bored." Many people come and go, but the core group remains the same. No, I am not Brett Favre, I won't be contemplating retirement every year, but the years may be number on this "bored" for me. Then again, maybe not. I'd like to thank everyone for keeping my around. I know this may be seen as post 8312, but it is really 10,000 with the board switch losses. Don't put an asterick by this. It is 10,000 not *10,000. Thanks again everyone, now let's hope for a couple great state tournaments next weekend!

P.S. Go Grand Rapids! Go Grand Rapids/Greenway!

When you do retire I think its safe to say there's a spot waiting for you in the Minnhock Hall of Fame, as one of the greats.

I thought you were going to say (or type)
MN Hockey Heaven, but only PB can authorize that honor.

And the peculiar thing is this my friends: the post we posted on that fateful night it didn't actually sound anything like this post.
