Naming people and players?
In recent days I have noticed several instances of posters naming people in various public posts. Today a coach was named, accusations were made, further the poster criticized his player/son and the activities the child partakes in outside of hockey.
Studly was the person who openly criticised a coach and then attacked his family with derogatory comments. Very weak studly.
What kind of person makes derogatory comments about children.
This forum allows for open debate and anyone that cannot follow the rules should be banned.

Does this mean no more slamming BM, because that's not fair either, if some of couldn't slam BM, cripes you'd have nothing to talk about, you might as well close the forum.hammerit wrote:In recent days I have noticed several instances of posters naming people in various public posts. Let's see, a guy that makes a living off of hockey Hepumps his brochures into homes across the state looking for any spare nickel a family can drum up - Versus = a 10-12 year old kid sitting at home doing nothing to harm anyone getting attacked by an "adult" on this website.
ARE they the same?
Let's see a kid vs. Bernie.....?
Are you looking to make a deal with posters on this forum?
No more Bernie bashing or we will keep bashing kids?
If that is what you are saying, NO DEAL.
In the case, one of his minions/supporters decided to attack a kids family.
Bernie, Mark Jorgenson, association Board you name it, they are public figures and open for criticism.

Deal with a guy with only 4 posts, I don't think so, or maybe it's your 2,000th post but now you are in diguise, we could have a poll to try to figure who you really are hmmmm. I saw the now banished post, and he wasn't talking about a kid, he was talking about the dad, the guy was bashing him just like every one bashes Bernie. Let's try to be consistant here.hammerit wrote:Let's see, a guy that makes a living off of hockey Hepumps his brochures into homes across the state looking for any spare nickel a family can drum up - Versus = a 10-12 year old kid sitting at home doing nothing to harm anyone getting attacked by an "adult" on this website.

I am not looking to deal with you. I am not going to argue about whether or not the boy name was mentioned. When the dads name is mentioned any reference to the boy, especially when accompanied by criticism of what they do off the ice, will obviously impact the child.
I do not even know the family nor do I have an affiliation to Cyclone's hockey.
Poll? Is that what you like?
Why 4 posts? I told myelf I would stay out of this stuff but today the first post I read had derogatory comments that directly referred to the boy.
I have read thousands of posts on here and I cannot remember anyone coming that close to attacking a child.
That line cannot be crossed.

Hammerit, I agree! I've been careful not to say what association I'm a part of. But yet I have someone on this site that feels the need to reveal who I am. This guy has never met me. He never seen me. But yet he's buying into the notion that I'm a bad guy.
I think the worst part of this site. Are the people that put a group of parents in a certain category. Just because parents sign their kids up to play in a program. Why are they over the top? I for one wouldn't care if the kids took the space shuttle to play hockey on the moon.
Opions are fine. As long as you don't call out these people. I have to admit that I've been guilty of some things. You bring up a great point.
This goes back to what I've been trying to preach for months.
"Don't worry about other peoples kids. Do what you think's the best for your situation"
Foiling up Coach!

If personal names get used on a public forum, bad things will come. Kids, adults, and many times associations.
If you take a look at the threads stating "names", there is usually very little positive banter to follow.
That said, this forum does have a moderator. If anyone doesn't agree with the rules, there is always a door we don't need to open.
