Tracking Scalped Ticket Prices (Outside of Xcel)
For those of you buying scalped tix outside of the Xcel on Thursday, please post what you ended up paying here. I think it will help other buyers if buyers know what the "going rate" is.
I'm planning on picking up a couple of tix for the Friday and Saturday AA games. Personally, I'll be interested to hear what the Thursday Quarterfinals games tickets go for.
After the Friday game, I'll post here what I paid.

I agree Angus, without Rapids coming down there's no way to find a sucker THAT big...AngusYoung wrote:Good luck with that one, bobboblee wrote:People will love you. Ebay is a rip off, but you are guarenteed tickets and you'll know where you'll be sitting which is a plus. Edina/Roseau will have higher prices than say Hill/BSM. A few years ago when Hill played AHA you couldn't give tickets away for that game. The next year Anoka played Roseville and tickets were going for $50. Last year $20 was the going rate. If you wait Friday until after the first period you'll pay less than face value, which is nice if your team plays second.
The 2 seats next to me in sect. 106 are always scalped, or at least have been for the past 7 years so I always ask what they payed.

I just bought a package of four tickets for the entire Class AA sessions for $450 (center ice, lower bowl). Let’s subtract just the face value of the Quarterfinals games ($104) from that. So, the remaining $346 would be for the Semi-Session and the Finals-Session (a total of 8 tickets). That works out to about $40 per ticket per session (which is $346 divided by eight)boblee wrote:I've already seen Semi-Final tickets going for 60 dollars and up per ticket.
Assume that I paid 50% over face for the Quarterfinals games (or $156). That would work out to about $35 per person per session for the Semis and Finals.
Paying $60 “and up” per ticket is awfully high.
Besides that, after the Quarterfinals are over, that means there are four losing teams that are going home...and their fans will undoubtedly be dumping tickets, no?

I have purchased two AA Semi-Final tickets in row 1 for $93 which is $46.50 per ticket per session, but is only $23.25 per game. Not terrible. I wish I would have waited it out, but these tickets are essentially as good as it gets.
I've been going to the tournament PT since the late 60's and FT since the mid 70's and there's always tickets on the street and I've never bought or sold above face.
Since they went to 2 classes the place is never as packed as it once was so if you want to feel "secure" and pay more in advance then go ahead but if it was me I'd just look for the group who is trying to unload some extras because somebody backed out the last minute.
With the majority of the seats held by season ticket holders they always buy the max nbr of seats allowed and just sell the extras so they don't lose the right next year.

$53 for the single A quarters??AngusYoung wrote:Just got to my seat a bit late. Paid $53 for this AM's session of the Class A show. Felt I got a great deal to be able to see the Scarlets and Dragons play some puck. I would assume tomorrow should be cheaper, but I'll update as time goes on.

And why would tomorrow be cheaper?
