Box office Question? Please help?

Post by niros0801 »

I need two know if you can still buy tickets at the box office on thursday morning at 10. All other ways are sold out. Thats my only hope to get in the game and I am willing to spend the night there to be first in that line. Please let me know!

I believe they would have some left over tickets for sale starting 1 hour prior to the beginning of the session. That's what it's always been in the past.

They have limited tickets at the box office. After Thursday's games the people with coupons will get first crack at tickets and remainders will also be put up for sale before a session opens.

The other option is too just bite the bullet and pay the scalpers outside. You will pay a few dollars more but you will get a ticket.

Limited is right. On friday/Saturday it will depend on what team is playing becuase some schools that wont make it into the semi's and finals will sell tickets back. Overall, the box office has limited, if none.

If you are interested check the Ticket thread sticky at the top of the page.

Tickets are alloted based on enrollment, Thursday evening should have a lot of tickets available as Hill-Murray and Roseau both play. Obviously Friday if both those teams win they'll be a lot more tickets available than if Lakeville South and Blaine win. With their large enrollments they'll be alloted quite a bit more tickets than Hill and Roseau would have been.

Buying tickets outside gives you a seat, possibly a very nice seat, waiting in the box office line may give you a seat if you're early enough. You should get SRO tickets at the very least though if you wait in line.

I have season tickets and walk in 10 minutes before the game, they've still been selling tickets as long as I can remember. I don't think they've truly sold out at the X yet. If you're there 1 hour early I wouldn't worry about getting in the building.

Edit: The building seats 18,349, last year 17,258 saw Thursdays day games, 18,351 saw the evening games, 18,556 saw Fridays games, and 17,055 saw Saturday nights games. They double sell some student tickets, so as you can see they don't truly sell out.

if I were you I would bring about $300.00, and go to one of the many great watering holes in the excel area. go early get a good seat, have a bite to eat and watch the games on tv. there will be many experts of the game of hockey to talk to.

I have been down there the last two years and was told they will not sell out unless the fire marshall shuts them down. The only problem is that if all seats are sold you get an upper bowl standing room only ticket. You can stand on the rail in the lower section with these tickets.
