I plan on making it to the state tournament this year. I was wondering what hotels are fairly decent around the X that possibly won't be booked already? Even if I have to drive 10-15 minutes.

Try the Crowne Plaza a few blocks away. It is connected to the X by skywalk.

Holiday Inn is right accross the street. Good "watering hole" in the hotel too....Irish joint called the Liffey.

The Residence Inn is a very nice hotel. It is located in Roseville and is about a 10-15 minute drive to the XCEL
