New Transfer Rules Not Ironclad

Post by MNHockeyFan »

I wonder if there have been any appeals granted this year for girl hockey players?

Mahtomedi lost a girl to Hill. She transfered in January and will be able to start the season in November. No other info is/was available.

Special Appeals can be made and players can be ruled eligible by the MNSHL based on indiviudual cases and the facts presented and found by the MNSHL.

I'd be interested in what grounds the appeal was granted. I know of a girl that played her freshman and sophomore year at her home school. She transferred to a school that doesn't offer sports in her junior year. According to the transfer rules she was allowed to play her junior year at her former school however as far as I know MNSHL is not allowing her to play her senior year. Last I heard she is appealing but her dad said it wasn't looking good for her playing her senior year.
