Whenever someone wants to take the time and run a picks contest. Nobody has stepped forward since boblee retired.

And no, I won't run the picks contest either!

I am new to this forum and I dont know what the "Hockey Contest" is all about but I would consider running it if you would like. I am laid off right now so I got time on my hands...lol! Someone needs to tell me about it.

Here are two topics from last season, just to provide a guide to how boblee ran it. Should you choose to do this, you can do it exactly as he did, somewhat like, or totally differently. It'll be your call, of course.

As someone who has run similar contests in the past, it's a lot of work. Should you find employment, will you still be able to do this?

Another guide, I like to call the "Dangla Rule". That's where someone starts something and then quits part-way into it, opening themselves up to constant ridicule. Just something to think about.

So how did he choose the games, he just picked ten games that looked competitive? And how many games per week, like just saturday games? Looks like he gave 2pts for a win half for a tie unless you picked it that way then it was 2 pts and then 0 for a loss? Sounds easy enough.
