I am at odds. I was thinking WBL would be on a mission this year, with all of the seniors staying. After this weekend I am doubting my prediction.

Forest Lake 3 - WBL 4

Comes down to two streaky goalies, collette is on WBL if Moberg is on Flake but the stars aren't lined right for them both to be on the same night.

no offense but wait till a woodbury wbl thred is put up.
ahh...im gonna go WBL in a close one. wbl had a rough weekend but they know non-conference games arent as important, and will step it up this week, hopefully starting it off with a win.

3-2 WBL
losing is still far from optional

3-2 WBL
And ending the week with two losses (to Woodbury and Cloquet).

Agreed... the Bears may have struggled last weekend, but it's still Forest Lake.

4-0 for WBL, end of 2nd period.

Period 2
Slator (Clark, Lennartson) 2-0 PP
Wallin (Wolter) 3-0 PP
Birkinbine (Wolter) 4-0

SOG: WBL 25+, FL 13

WBL is very physical and has been scoring mostly from within 3' of the net.

Thanks Nightman for the edit.

5-1 Final, Birkinbine gets the fifth goal and completes the hat trick, assisted by Putney. Shots were 40-26 in favor of White Bear.

Game ends 5-1 for WBL.

Wasn't it White Bear that took Hill-Murray to OT in the section finals last year? The non-seniors for WBL looked good tonight (Wallin, Birkinbine, Wolter, Clark, Lennartson) which is good news for next year also.

I would love to see this team again, but they are not on the regular MyFoxHockey schedule again (a lot of Minnetonka games scheduled). Would also love to see them knock off Hill-Murray in the sections.

No OT last year, but they got closer to beating them than any team in the state tournament (2-1). The two years before last had both been OT.

Good game for the Bears tonight. Birkinbine has a lot of potential. They needed this after a rough weekend up in Fargo/Moorhead.
