A lot of views on this topic, but nobody saying anything.
STARS played a good game yesterday, but WBL was better. Edina looked better than their first game, but nothing too impressive.
This game is a preview of what could be the section 2A final.
My opinion is if Burke plays a little better than he did last night, AHA should win this game. There is a lot of hype over Edina, but after watching them play they look like another solid HS team. With Budish, they are different. They are still a good team, but so are the STARS.
The STARS are still learning the game as a team, having only played 6 games.

I am going to call this one as a tie with AHA winning in another shootout.
3 - 3 score, but only the three shooters in the shootout. Edina does not want to see John Haeg repeat....Nice shot John!

I was at the Edina vs. Tonka game, and caught the end of the AHA vs. WBL game, I would say that AHA wins this one. From the game that I watched, between edina and Tonka the game was just slow paced. It was that interesting, it's true it had its moments but overall not that interesting. Edina, is a different team without Buddish.

AHA, will out play Edina in this game i think it will be close for the first two then AHA will pull away. 4-2

Not sure what you are looking for from me, but I will try and decipher your "WHAT??"

When I wrote it there were 90 views of the topic, but nobody wrote anything.
The next sentence is pretty self explanitory.
Yes, AHA and Edina may be in the Section Final. Jefferson could also be there and do not rule our Burnsville.
If Burke plays a little better, stopping more shots and staying a little closer to the net, AHA will win. Burke is a good goalie, and I like AHA's chances with him in goal. Much better than the last couple of years.
AHA had played only six games going into the game against WBL, most other teams had played 3 - 5 more games than AHA. That gives other teams a bit of an edge because they have played more games. AHA schedules most games after the first of the year and will be a much better team at the end of the year. Some teams play less games at the end of the year. They alll play 25 though.

With the teams sporting the states best first lines in the state, I'm going to have to go with Edina in a close one as they are just a little bigger.
4-3 Hornets.

It still ends in a shoot-out.

In my opinion if Edina plays like they played against tonka in the first two periods they do not really have a chance but if they play real well it will be a great game to go to.

This will be a great game. No Zach. Danny might be the best all around player in the state and this is a team to watch out for.

Close game but AHA will win and put people on notice just how good they are.

My prediction : close game until late in the second. Either team could win this game, but I'm going to predict that Edina will get a go ahead goal late in the second or in the third from their top line and another goal to have a two point spread. I'm also assuming that the winning team will not get the first goal.

It should be an awesome game to watch.

Edina was the much better team tonight. AHA played alright when they tried, but seemed to be a step off. Edina is great at swarming the puck and at crashing the net, which means they have a great chance at turning rebounds into goals.

theres only one thing that is better in the high school hockey then an edina lose and that is a holy angels lose great outcome tonight conner riley tried about a dozen slapshots without one ever hitting its target and that pretty much sums up AHA's play tonight not up to par.

You should really brush up your grammar. Maybe then you could post in a coherent manner.

That said, AHA looked pretty bad tonight. I think there are a better team than they showed tonight. I look forward to seeing a rematch in sectionals, Especially a possible match up at Mariucci on the big sheet where Edina's size will be less of a factor. When AHA had even a little space they were dangerous.

Tommy Burke seems to be the real deal. Goaltending was my biggest question going into this season.

Edina is impressive. Maybe the best team in the state. However it's pretty rare when the best team in the state wins state. This is a what have you done for me lately business, And things can change a lot in 3 months. Section 2AA is murders row, And any team will be lucky to get out of it alive.
