Post by Boogs24 »

They are under rated team!! im not from White Bear and i hate white bear but they are a very solid team. does anyone agree with me? they are a very good team and should be ranked top 5. I heard #6 is the stud on the team. Anyone play them yet this year??

Hey Boogs24, I think maybe you got wbl orange and black confused. Wbl black is for sure the stronger team, and #6 on black is pretty good, don't think #6 on orange is any better than average.

i dont like the standings in lets play hockey. it doesnt even have orange in the top ten and they have only lost 1 league game and they have beaten the black team twice. orange should be in the top ten not black

WBL Orange

Post by Patchy the Pirate »

WBL Orange is a class act. They have great players, coaches and parents, one of the best tournaments in town and THE best trophy in the metro (the old Brooklyn Park Pirate was pretty beast, too). Bottom line is WBL knows how to put hockey teams on the ice. Great organization.

Why Orange is not in the top 10 is anybody's guess!

finally its the 2nd to last week of the season and orange breaks the top ten. they should be higher than 9th (well 8th really since edina white is up there twice). they can have edina's fifth spot

I was one who thought black was the better team early in the year, and still believe that was true. The fact is orange stepped up and got better every game, while black slowly declined throughout the season. Watching both teams it is clear to me that orange had superior coaching. I talked to a couple players from black and they had no respect for their coach, and feel like they got cheated by not having anywhere near decent coaching. They actually said their practices were a complete joke. Congrats to WBL orange and good luck at state.
