Devils

With solid goal tending and if the defense pick it up a notch, could see themselves at the big show. Have to play with urgency a lot of heart and yes some lucky bounces could carry them to another state appearance.

OR
Greenway may upset them in the Qfinals.

Can't see the raiders upsetting the Devils. They shocked the Falls yes , no chance against Virginia.

[Score 3-2] shots on goal 18 - 43 in favor of the DEVILS. Not to say the raiders couldn't upset the Devils just not likely sorry.

Greenway beats Virginia 5-4
This was when Virginia had the likes of Sachetti, McGillivray, and Kishel on the team......anything is possible

Virginia is the 3 seed in 7A. They aren't going anywhere. They have and awesome goalie in Lustig and an outstanding player in Westin but other than that there really isn't a surrounding cast. I see the devils losing to Marshall in the Semi's.

Right now, its shaping up that Virginia would be the #2 seed and Marshall the #4 seed. That would pit Marshall against Hibbing in the semis. Although the Marshall/Virginia game on the 10th will go along way to determine things - as will the Hibbing/IFalls rematch.

Virginia has just as good of a shot at winning the section as the other top three. Whoever is hot in the last week of February is the one that will go.

Hibbing has a one game cushion. They can afford to lose one game. I see them winning out in the section an seeing Virginia as the 3 seed. I think Virginia and Marshall would be a very good game but I see a Marshall vs. Hibbing rematch.

They are on Saturday February 28th. Afternoon game in Hibbing at 1:00 (will involve the matchup that Hibbing is not playing in) and evening game at 7:30 in Grand Rapids (will be Hibbing and whoever their opponent winds up being).

I can't wait for both those games. I think I'm getting playoff fever. It should be awesome.
