UNOFFICIAL MR. HOCKEY WINNER
To find your answer-Google Lucia hockey camps and click on the second link down-Then notice Lucia looking somber-Then click on statistics team number 6-There you will find your winner, and no it's not Anders Lee--This young man dominates in the winter, in the summer elite league, and in elite camps. He also makes other players look better. Might be the best our state has produced in a long while, and it would be a joke if he didn't win because of the school he attends..............CONGRATS !

I googled "Lucia hockey camps" and got a webpage with a somber looking Lucia. Okay, second link down?
Hmmm, first link is HOME. The next available link is MARIUCCI ARENA.
So, Mariucci Arena is the new Mr. Hockey? Wow, they are finally giving some credit to the rinks that make players famous. About time!

Nick Leddy - 2009 Mr. Hockey
MrBoDangles must be Anders Lee's publicist once again spewing crap...I'm not even sure that he's the best forward on Edina, possibly Everson. Danny Mattson and Tyler Pitlick are more talented than Lee. This years Mr. Hockey pick again will be a defenseman in Nick Leddy...he's the faster, most talented player in the state, and see's the ice like no other that I've seen this year. He's a hell of a player...if he had a team that could keep up with him and catch his pass or hit him with a pass, he's be one of the top scorers in the state.

HSpuckguy, AKA Bre.....out. Out of your 13 posts, one common thread Leddy's the best, Lee sucks. We get it. Now go and cheer your Eagles.HSpuckguy wrote:MrBoDangles must be Anders Lee's publicist once again spewing crap...I'm not even sure that he's the best forward on Edina, possibly Everson. Actually, I think that I'm quite serious.MrBoDangles wrote:You're a barrel of laughs Teak.
IMHO there are too many assists in ice hockey. I can see giving one assist on most plays, but usually not two. For it to be two assists, both passes would have to be in quick succession and clearly part of the setup play that results in a goal.
But rather it appears to be: defenseman picks up puck behind his own net and passes out to a winger, who skates all the way down into the offensive zone where he dishes off to the center, who puts the puck into the net. The winger's assist seems legitimate, but the defenders? Come on. Even I could do that.
Puck flies into the crowd; I catch it. I lob it back onto the ice; ref does a faceoff with the same puck. Center wins draw and pushes it forward to a winger who streaks in on goal and scores. Shouldn't I get an assist on the play for having thrown the puck back?
So, yeah, goal-scorers create assists for others. If they don't score, there are no assists.

This is coming from the one and only guy that couldn't find his way onto the website. Hano was the top player at model camp (players should have scored more with his passes). He dominates against other elites in the summer elite league, and he obviously does pretty well for his HS team. Sorry you have such a hard time understanding teak.

Aha, MrBoDangles, gotcha!MrBoDangles wrote:This is coming from the one and only guy that couldn't find his way onto the website. You were trying so hard to get us to say the H name for you, but you had to come and and say it yourself.
OUTED!!
Seriously, we were all just yanking your chain...having a little fun. Of course we (I) knew you were talking about the H name. He probably deserves Mr. Hockey as much as anyone else, but of course you have noticed others will continue to argue for Leddy, or Lee, or maybe even Brock Nelson of Warroad.
And, BTW, I do understand teak. It is a beautiful hardwood from the tropics of which I own a stool, a bench seat, and two chairs made out of this wonderful wood.
MrBoDangles,...., MrBoDangles,....dance!

Congrats to Mr. Ben.GopherPuckPlayer wrote:7Pts for Big Ben tonight. And taking home a record.
Here's to hoping that Little Falls can continue their winning ways even after all of the Hanowskis graduate. The sport could use some new teams from outside the traditional powerhouses.
I drove through Little Falls last summer on one of my rare travels to the far NE of Minnesota. Didn't stop though; continued on to Long Prairie where the wife and I had lunch. Nice country.
