Why is Forest Lake always so bad year after year?

Post by ROOK EYE »

I noticed Forest Lake lost again today to a really bad Hastings team. What's it going to take for this program to ever become a winner. Have they ever finished even in the Middle of their conference? This program has been around along time.

Both teams have very similar records after todays game.

Forest Lake is 8-14-2 overall

Hastings is 7-14-2 overall

A little talent wouldn't hurt. I don't think you have to look much further than this forum. How often does anyone bring up the Ranger's on this forum? Never. No one up there cares. They only care about wraslin.

With all do repect White Bear. Without knowing for sure, i would imagine all or most of Hastings-F.L- Mounds View- and Park's wins have all come against each other?
Forest Lake has had a hockey program for 30 years or more, i believe. I don't ever recall Forest lake ever being in the State tourney or even battling for a section title. At least Hastings-M.V-and Park have had some sucess. My suggestion would be take Forest Lake out of the SEC and move them in with Stacy-Harris-Scandia-Columbus.

Forest Lake did beat Woodbury a few weeks ago and tied them a week before that. They also lost in O.T. to Cretin recently.

O.K, with the exception of an upset here and a tie there each year I for one chalk that up to "anyone can beat anyone else on any given day" just because there kids. The real facts are.. Forest Lake has had alot of losing seasons over the years and no real success for a program that has been around for quite some time, and the community has grown alot. What do you think is the reason for such a lack of success?
I never really thought about it much till the Virus made the point. "How often do you see post's involving Forest Lake?" Not very often. That to me would indicate not many passionate Ranger fans out there.

99% of their parents can shoot a deer at 400 yards but can't buy the right size shin pads for their kids. Not a hockey town and never will be.

Always fun to watch two usernames posting from the same IP having a "dialogue".

Grow up.
