Jefferson 12 Eastview 0

Post by dynamicD »

In a game were Jefferson felt they needed to say something i think they did exactly that with about 12 goals. Eastview just had to close their eyes and wait till it was over. I am very much encouraged that the Jags responded to their first bit of adversity by winning huge. I believe that the lose the Jags took to EP will end up being a lesson they needed to have before they could succeed any further. After a few questionable efforts in the last few games by the Jags, it's good to see that if they all show up.....they can be devestating.

Oh and one more thing.....sry to rub it in but it was 12-0 after two periods so they were on pace for a solid 18-0 blowout the way they were playing

EV did not show up for this game at all, they looked terrible. Friedman wasn't playing so that made it worse. Is he hurt?

Just curious........ I have heard that Jefferson's turnaround this season can be attributed to some of the "outside" teachings from a man named Yuro, or something like that... That he is kinda a conditioning coach/hockey guru..... what is the story there??? They just seemed to be so dominant.

Yep...that's it. They were a bunch of lousy skating bums until the hockey guru taught them how to skate and play the game.

Seriously, they were a good team last year losing in OT in the semifinal section game with a lot of very good young players. This year those players are a year older, stronger and have the benefit of experience. It's also worth mentioning that last year they had lost Herbert (UMD recruit, National Select 17 team etc.) for most of the season with a broken leg.

The question that remains is can they win the critical games in sections this year. Section 2AA is loaded and it won't be easy to come out of that section.

I believe you are thinking of "Yoda" and he doesn't do hockey...

Friedman is hurt, I believe it's his quad muscle.

Jefferson has a good team yes but they haven't played the best schedule and this might come back to haunt them when they have to face some of the top teams in their sections. Just ask Glen Mason!

Thanks for clarifying Yoda's presence with the young Jeffi's emergence this season!!!!! I was curious, because being in the SEC, we were discussing some of the other teams in the metro and a guy told me Jefferson had some expert help them... Thanks for correcting any info....

Oh lord this was a complete embarrassment from the Eastview side. I cant even imagine the score with the Jags top scorers in the game. This Jefferson team is legit and moves the puck better then any team we have played all year. They made a extremely good goalie in Ryan O'shea look hopeless at times.
