Cenntenial Vs. Andover

Post by talkofthetown17 »

Does Andover stand a chance? I think Centennial could be looking to coast out of the regular season. IT would be cool to see see Andover win a big game like that. Any predictions

This game will be closer than expected due to the fact that Brett Larsen is hurt and is getting opinions from doctors on if he can even play the rest of the season!

Andover could upset the Cougars. Matt Ray is a very good goalie.

I don't think it'll be running time, but I think Centennial will win by 3-4 goals.

5-3 Centennial.

Andover nearly beat Maple Grove last week though, so they are definitely not a team to overlook.

I definitely wouldn't totally dismiss Andover's chances in this one. They have been right there when they've played teams of this caliber. Haven't managed to win them, but take a look at how close they have been, especially the ones in the second half of the season:

12/16 Elk River L, 0-3
1/8 Maple Grove L, 1-2
1/15 Centennial L, 0-4
1/22 Blaine L, 2-5
1/31 Duluth East L, 2-4
2/5 Elk River L, 0-1
2/12 Maple Grove L, 3-4

wow 3-3 even in the 3rd. Centennial is outshooting but man Andover is finding ways to put it in the net.

That oughta shake things up!!

This is quite interesting, Blaine's final regular season game is against none other than the Andover Huskies.

Just when it looked like Centennial had things wrapped up...

Andover, meanwhile, is not a team that should be taken lightly in sections.

I like the call...now it looks like the Bengals have control of the Conference and Section seeding if they can get by the Huskies on Saturday.

Everytime Centennial seems to get the stuff straight they do this. Go beat Edina then drop a tough one. Startin to get hot lately then they tie Andover. Maybe they will play amazing in sections only to get owned in the state tourney. Who knows with this team......
