HS Teams skating after elimination

Just curious as to what teams are doing as far as skating together post-elimination... I know some teams will use the remaining ice after section elimination even if just for fun, scrimmaging, etc. Often HS's can't return this ice so either it is given to their HS boys program, kept by the girls for fun, or just eaten and sits empty (a shame) but not sure what the MSHSL says about this now... I thought it used to be that a HS team could skate together through the last day of the state tourney even if eliminated...
