I don't need to look at this video to know what it is, and I also didn't need this thread to remind me that tomorrow is indeed the one year anniversary of it.

Time for some vindication.

 I might watch it right before the semifinals and/or finals to get myself in the proper mindset. In fact, it might not be a bad idea for Randolph to show his team this, for similar reasons.

I believe these two are part of the box set "Duluth East Semifinal Saturday Agony," along with a Reid Ellingson montage from the year before.

The set costs $19.95 and will be on sale at all playoff games at the DECC this year. Proceeds go to the Duluth East hockey fund, where the funds will be used to "encourage" various top players from around the state to come spend their high school careers on the east side of Duluth.

We only show them clips of Dave Spehar, though.

I might fly down, not so much for Rapids (Sorry boys but it looks like a down year) but to witness Season 4 of Duluth East Semi-Final Saturday Agony. Do you think someday it might be on Soap Network?

They're working on the contract rights as we speak. Even more revenue! See, it's all just a plot...

If there is a Season 4, with this version of East and this version of 7AA, it will make the last three look light and happy.

Just don't tell them the proceeds are used for airfare to fly those Russian prospects in to Duluth. I wonder how much Russian Mike and Terry know? Might do them well to learn.

Hey, gotta do something to offset that Scandinavian Pipeline which Cloquet seems to have developed. Image

Hey, you live in the city of the playoffs. You don't have to pay hundreds of $ to fly thousands upon thousands of miles.

That is very true. Maybe you could ride a Greyhound bus to Minnesota. :-k

Why ask a question when you already know the answer?

I wouldn't say sectionals were much better. They gave up what like 17 goals in 4 games? Credit for going to state though.

They got a pipeline now ? Lived in Duluth many years ago & Cloquet had more Finlanders than Finland back then ! (Maybe they're exporting em now).

Both last year and the year before, they had a Scandanavian import on their first line. Erikson and Carlson (not sure on funny Scandanavian spellings) were their names...how creative. At least one was Swedish; can't remember if the other one was Swedish or Finnish. Maybe some Cloquet person can fill in my missing details, but the short answer is yes.

Hmm, that was a solid ramble.

Ah yes, they were both C(K)arlssons. How quickly I forget these things.

They were both nice little players. They played supporting roles to the first-line centers (Johnson or Jokinen) quite well.
