Prephockeynorth's All-teams

Post by northernboy7645 »

Whoever made these, what is going through your head? First off leaving Sam Rendle off of the teams is the first big mistake. Second, how can you put Garrett Hendrickson (dont get me wrong he's a hell of a sophomore and very productive) but how can you put him over Max Tardy who is a D1 commited player and a Mr.Hockey Finalist? Seems a little fishy. He's also listed over his linemate Chris Westin and playing the same schedule his numbers arent as high as his? Max Tardy was completely overlooked when he is probably the best forward in the section 7A,7AA, 5A area.

You know, if you don't like it you should make your own. The people who run sites like prephockeynorth, minnhock, followthepuck, the geocities site, don't have to take time out of their day to do so; but yet, they do. They make available stats, scores, schedules, rosters, and much more to all Minnesota high school hockey fans. If you want to say anything, say thank you for your hard work to these people. I for one am very thankful for all these sites, and the hard work their owners put into them.

Speaking of Prep Hockey North, PuckRanger, who runs the site, posted a message on the main page a week or so ago saying that donations are needed to keep the site running. I have seen the same message on Follow the Puck. If you enjoy these sites, donate 5-10 bucks so we can keep enjoying them in the future.

I have to chime in here and point out that this is NOT PrepHockeyNorth.com's all-region team.

This is a regular blog entry from Howie Hanson, and this is HIS team. The official PHN all section teams will be announced after the state tournament.

He does indicate in his blog entry that these are HIS picks.

The official version is one class A team and one AA team that is four lines deep with 3 sets of defensemen, 3 goalies, and an honorable mention list.

I apoligize for any confusion.
