Meltdown open schedule available
The schedule is now up at the showcase website.

I have a question.
What is the difference between the Wales and Campbell division in the 1998 age group? Is one considered a higher level than the other?

I know Mernie McHockey believes in the alliance or at least uses it as an excuse to pick what kids he'll let into his tourney. Last year the 99 Snipers played in open tourneys and this year they made a switch to invite tourneys.muckandgrind wrote:Aren't they always? Some levels will always have stronger draws than others. But, again, I ask the question....if there is really an "alliance", where are the MM teams?iwearmysunglassesatnight wrote:The invite level at a few levels maybe disappointing to some.
My buddy sent me the 99 Sniper schedule:
Tourney Schedule:
May 1-3 / Northern Wings tourney - Duluth Minnesota
May 28 - 31 / Lightning tourney - Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
June 18-21 / International cup tourney - Blaine, Minnesota
August 20 - 23 / Easton Cup tourney - Blaine, Minnesota

That Easton Cup is the Open tournament, the Invitational is August 13-16. I also don't believe the Northern Wings tourney is invitational, either.Judgeandjury wrote:I know Mernie McHockey believes in the alliance or at least uses it as an excuse to pick what kids he'll let into his tourney. I think all Deuce teams are playing Invites and the Snipers and Grinders teams all play open tourneys not positive?
Keep in mind that Mernie McHockey makes sure to keep the Deuce parents well informed that their kids are just about ready to make the Machine with a little more work and more clinics. The Deuce teams get a little more perks than the Sniper or grinder teams to make sure Mernie McHockey doesn't lose any Deuce players. Deuce players also pay more to play than Sniper or Grinder kids.

Last year you were a Sniper parent. This year as well or have you moved on to the some other team?

Why are you still playing at Mn Made? Your most recent posts or ax grinds are clear signs that you are not happy with the program you are skating at!Judgeandjury wrote:Still playing.iwearmysunglassesatnight wrote:Last year you were a Sniper parent.
