Mornville is top 5 in the state, they will be fine

They're young - I'm not expecting much. Same thing I said last year before they went all the way to the title game! I can only hope.

(They've done that to me before - I'm slow to catch on!)

I agree with you Spudnut! Thought last years team was better than what their record indicated......but they pulled it together just at the right time. Perhaps a bit lucky and opportunistic. I look forward to what the underclassmen of this years team will bring. I think THEY will make or break this years team chance to repeat section champs and a good run at state!

Their returning goaltending (Marks, Bitzer, Johnson) is going to be a definite strength and they do bring back some talented forwards (Rahman, Buckellew, Kraemer, Larson, etc.). But they basically lost their entire defensive corps that saw the majority of time in the playoffs...how that unit comes together is going to be the big factor as to how the Spuds do this winter, IMHO.
