Red River Prep Girls Hockey League!!!
Girls, if you are going to be playing varsity hockey in 09-10 please consider the Red River Prep league. No matter where you live, this league will be a great place to get ready for the upcoming season.
Game will be played in Crookston on Sunday's and Wednesday's in October. Teams will be formed based on parity. All teams will play two games per day for three of the Sunday's with a few game's being played on Wednesday evenings.
Affordable
The cost for the league is only $175 which includes a Jersey, practice, seven regular season games and a minimum of one game in the playoffs. An ALL STAR GAME will follow with no charge for any player that makes the team!!!
Competitive
The league will be competitive as players will be formed via a draft with no more than seven on the same team. There will be many teams with girls from 5-8 high schools on them.
Game Rules
All League games will have a five minute warm-up followed by three 21 minute running time halves. There will be a resurface every two periods and the clock will stop in the final two minutes if the score is two goals or closer.
Coaches
High School coaches can coach this league as the teams they coach will not have players from their high school on them. If you want to coach please let us know at info@northlandhockeygroup.com. Could you submit names of players from your high school that may consider playing in October. You will be paid for coaching a team. If you do not want to coach could you suggest a U14 coach to do it?

With 12-15 high schools in the area we only need about 33% of the girls to particiapate to form a pretty talented league.
