If he didn't know he probably would be more interested in truly finding out "how Burnsville is" as a team rather than who is actually good on the team.

So yes, as the first response said, you tell us.

Top returning players based on Hockey Hub stats from last year.

Childs is a great new addition who was a top JV scorer last year and has had a good start this year leading the team with 7 points followed by Smyth with 5 points. They lost their big scoring line from last year that had Pearson, May and King but their defense should be better with 5 returning Varsity players and 1 who played some Varsity. 2 good goaltenders with Engum also having played on National 16 team.

player goals assists total points
Smyth - 20 - 18 - 38
Dockry - 7 - 11 - 18
Madigan - 2 - 11 - 13
Hendrickson - 0 - 11 - 11
Wroblewski - 1 - 8 - 9
Mosey - 1 - 5 - 6
Wittchow - 1 - 4 - 5
Chapman - 3 - 1 - 4
Johnson - 0 - 4 - 4
Fischer - 2 - 1 - 3
Branson - 1 - 1 - 2

I've seen the Blaze play a couple of times. Didn't look good at all against Edina. Had a pretty solid night vs Apple Valley. Lots of seniors that are pretty big and fast. Don't have a lot of scoring depth. Will need to rely on strong defense and strong goalie work. I believe both goalies have played pretty decent. The defense were out of postion against Edina all night, much better against Valley. The key to scoring for the Blaze will be moving the puck. 8, 15, & 7 did that very well against Valley. The other 2 lines nots so good. I noticed the centers on the other 2 lines not moving the puck at all. I am sure like all Blaze teams under Coach Kivilhalme they will be tough to beat the 2nd half of the season.

Pretty good forecast from way back in December TJK! In their last 16 games they are 14-1-1 and have knocked off 3 top ten teams. They will have a huge challenge going into a tough section 2AA but your prediction of a strong 2nd half was spot on.

Burnsville is definitely a team to treat with respect but not super deep. Good goaltending though and this time of the season, you have to watch out for those teams. Good luck to the Blaze. Thinking Edina might win section though.

this is good and bad for this team. good to the fact that there players seem to being playing above potential looking at the points total this year (looks alittle low). and bad to the fact that they seem to be relying on their goaltender to keep them in games. Not to be a guy with his glass half empty but i predict when their goaltender lets a few in that they will tighten up and not really know what to do.
